National Woodlandowners Association

MONTANA FOREST OWNERS ASSOCIATION is a State partner association in the Alliance of Landowner Associations called National Woodland Owners Association (NWOA).

NWOA, with its 35 state partner organizations working as the Alliance of Landowner Associations, has become the most active, independent landowners group in the country. The alliance starts at the grass-roots level and is comprised of local and state associations of forest and woodland owners. Its purpose is to develop policy, legislation and representation at the national level as one unified voice as well as provide educational and networking opportunities to landowners throughout the country. Currently there are 32 state forest and woodland owner associations that make up the alliance, and that number is growing each year. It is NWOA’s goal to have all 50 states represented by this influential alliance.
