Family Forestry

The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Service Forestry Bureau provides the public, local governments, corporations, and other agencies with the following services: pre-notification, Hazard Reduction Law (HRA); Streamside Management Laws (SMZ); forestry Best Management Practices (BMPs) timber sale assistance; urban and community forestry assistance; forest insect and disease management; and the conservation seedling nursery.
